Gord has been owner of Kensington Physiotherapy & Acupuncture Clinic since 1991. He became a physiotherapist in 1988 and a Medical Acupuncturist through the U of A in 1994, with advanced training at the Beijing Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital in China. Gord also provides orthotics via the Orthotics Group. Gord has volunteered his services as sole physiotherapist and acupuncturist for high performance curlers at several events including two Briers and several World Curling Tour events as well as the local Husky Autumn Gold.
Jacki Dewar
Co-owner, Manager, Sugar Specialist, Trainer, Distributor
Jacki has been co-owner and office manager for Kensington Physiotherapy and Acupuncture since 1992. In 1996 Jacki changed career paths from Network Analyst with CIBC and started her own business as a Sugar Specialist, Trainer and Distributor for SUKAR Body Sugar. She enjoys a specialized sugar clientele and training others who wish to start their own independent home business.
Lorna Bowie
Lorna joined our team as a part-time Receptionist in 2002. She continues to be part of her husband's business as Book-keeper, volunteers at the Children's Hospital, and is a mother of two grown boys.
Taira Short
Sugar Specialist
A long time sugar client herself, Taira became a sugar specialist in May 2002. She is enjoying building her home-based business "The Empty Follicle" while working part-time for Kensington Body Sugar Treatments. She has three almost grown children and contributes to her husband's business as well.
