Dear Gord,
I was involved in the Korean War and in 1951 I was hit with shrapnel and injured severely. I have been experiencing numbness and pain in my left foot and pain, stiffness and muscle spasms in my lower back and neck since that injury. I have tried over the years many types of treatment including chiropractic for the last three years prior to seeing you Gord. Nothing had helped, and in fact other treatments seemed to make me worse. My doctor suggested that I come to see you for treatment for my low back and neck pain.
You carried out regular physiotherapy treatments on my low back and neck which gave me good relief but did not completely clear my pain especially in weather changes. You then asked me if I wished to try acupuncture. I was very reluctant at first as I have a great fear of needles, but with your calm approach and professional attitude I decided I had nothing to lose. Since you have started acupuncture treatments on me I have no more muscle spasms in my low back and neck, my stiffness has decreased significantly, and I only have minimal pain during weather changes. The numbness and pain in my left foot has completely vanished and I do not limp anymore.
In another matter completely unrelated you noticed that I had a ganglion on my right wrist. I had had surgery on it but it had returned. With two treatments of acupuncture the ganglion disappeared completely and has not returned as of this date.
I want to thank you Gord for all the help you have given me and strongly recommend acupuncture for anyone who has problems that they cannot resolve through conventional treatment.
Sincerely,
Ronald Pullman
